Species at Risk advisory committee

The Species at Risk Act (SARA) recognizes that the role of consultation in the conservation of wildlife is essential and allows for the creation of committees to advise the Minister on the administration of the Act. Environment and Climate Change Canada is inviting expressions of interest from organizations with a direct interest in the SARA who would like to serve as a member of the Species at Risk Advisory Committee (SARAC).

Please refer to the web link below for more details on SARAC, and for details on how to submit an expression of interest. The deadline for applications is Thursday, November 10, 2016.

We encourage you to share this posting widely throughout your networks and with those you feel may have an interest to serve as a committee member.
